Plástica 2009
My series “Plástica” contains portraits of women who received plastic surgery (known in Brazil as “plástica”) an was shot in 2009 in Rio de Janeiro.
It was originally shot for the exhibition LLL- Lieben Leben Leiden- Frauenbilder junger Künstlerinnen, Kunstverein Celle e.V. and will be published together with a commentary by anthropologist Alexander Edmonds.
