Having lost her father due to HIV/Aids and a mother sick with it at the moment Lynette is left on her own in the Ugandan capital of Kampala. Together with her friends Jared and Hadija, aids orphans themselves, the kids would be staying on the street if it was not for the big heart of school director Miss Olivia allowing them shelter in her school, paying for their fees and necessities.
The Railway Children School in Katwe a slum area in Kampala´s south, is a special place: Not only is it recognised for its outstanding work on HIV education, but also it is the home of Lynette and her friends.
